The product passes through a sifter, which filters it through a sieve with the desired mesh size. The mesh size of the sieve depends on the type of product, the capacity of the line and the technical requirements of the plant.
For flour it can be a 2x2 mm sieve, for sugar it can be 3x3 mm and for cocoa, a more fatty product, it can be 7x7 mm.
The use of a vibratory sifter is particularly important in bakeries, confectioneries and factories where high flour quality is required for consistent recipes and textures. This technology results in a more airy product, which ultimately leads to improved flavour and aesthetics in baked goods.
Vibrating sifter cover for cleaning
Vibrating sifter is a special equipment, installed in a pneumatic transport line, designed for effective screening of bulk products at various production facilities. Its main purpose is to clean the product from foreign impurities and lumps, and also performs the process of aeration, which improves the quality of the final product.

The sieve inside the device vibrates, due to which the product is sieved through the smallest openings, while large particles and impurities are retained. This equipment makes it possible to automatically process large volumes of product at high speed.
For confectionery companies we have developed a plant for the production of icing sugar.

The Sugar Mill
Icing sugar production
Sugar is fed by a screw from a nearby fabric silo into the mill.
The mill is equipped with a rotor head that rotates at high speed to grind sugar into powder. The higher the rotation speed, the finer the powder is obtained.
After grinding, the powder is fed into a storage tank equipped with a special tedder, which prevents the product from sticking, as icing sugar is hygroscopic.
The powder is fed from the storage tank to the metering unit by a pneumatic conveying system.
